It might just be that even numbers can screw us as well though. Just flip a coin between even numbers and the ones you posted and go with it.

yes i think that we need to distribute evenly, the next part is going to have ot be something along the lines of takign out the other teams barrells, who ever has the most wins.

Nice, we're still in the hazy zone of randomness and luck. I suggest going for something like 1/5/6, because the first and last ones are most likely to have the biggest numbers in them (if we're chasing them).
